What's the point of posting your stolen iPod's serial number on a website?!?! Who is going to bother to check that???
What is needed is the ability to inform Apple that an iPod with serial number XYZ has been stolen so that iTunes no longer works with the iPod with that serial number.
When I click the Link for "Stolen911.com" or type in the URL, "http://www.stolen911.com" shows nothing but a blank, white field/page.
What's going on? Is the rash of stolen iPods reported, via the site, causing a server crash? Doubtfull, as there would be some sort of default error page displayed by the web browser.
I tried to post my stolen iPod on the site but the page never loads... is the site still up and running?

On December 17, 2008 my 30GB IPOD VIDEO was stolen from my car between the hours of 10PM and 6AM less than 10' from my front door. The registered serial number is 8L6233UVSZ9. I catch you...I WILL prosecute.
The thing is some of these ipods were stolen then sold thats how the world works there are black markets and innocent people get sold or traded for what they think are non stolen ipods when they have no way of knowing.

My son had his IPOD nano stolen from his back pocket while listening to it!!! At Rio Rancho Mid High in Rio Rancho , N.M. the serial number is 7J848KHW3RO and it is engraved on the back with the name GAGE GOBSTER GARCIA!! He received it as gift from his grandma and he really deserved it. If Anyone finds it they will be greatly rewarded.

I recover my stolen iPod after reporting it on http://www.stolen-property.com/ - I got a tip the thief was trying to sell it on Craigslist...busted!
